Thank you to everyone who came along to Sandy Aths’ working bee on Sunday 20 September. It was a sunny day at the Glamis Avenue track, with members pitching in to care for the place we train and race.

The photographs show volunteers clearing drains beside the track, sweeping and tidying the surrounds, working behind the green sheds and shifting old material into a skip. The rotary hoe and the day's task board also made an appearance. Some jobs were planned for the morning, but the board is not a record that every item was completed.

It takes many hands to keep a volunteer-run club in good shape. Thanks to everyone who gave up part of their Sunday, whether you were digging, lifting, sweeping or lending a hand elsewhere.
