Running strong at Ravenswood: XCR Round 3 recap
Three rounds in, Sandy sit top of the table in both the Male and Female Premier Divisions. Round 3 at Ravenswood on Saturday delivered another dominant team performance — and a string of excellent individual runs across the grades.

🏆 Male Open — Sandy 1st in Premier Division
Logan Janetzki won the Male Open outright, finishing 1st overall in 24:55 on the demanding Ravenswood course. Callen Goldsmith, Hamish Donohue and William Garbelotto came home 7th, 8th and 9th — three Sandy men within two seconds of each other. Max Luke was 22nd and James Paproth 61st. Six scorers, enormous depth.
Reece Langdon (65th) and Paul Azad (261st) scored for Sandringham 2 in Division 4, adding further ladder points for the club.

🏆 Female Open — Sandy 1st in Premier Division
Mia Roux led Sandy home in 4th place overall (29:46), with Alice Oakley Kerr right behind in 5th (29:50). Meg Oakley Kerr was 12th, Orla Shackcloth 16th and Sienna Rowe 20th — five Sandy women in the top 20 of the field. That's the kind of team depth that wins a premier division.
Stella Crawford-Rust (25th), Gabrielle Vincent (30th) and Millie Williams (92nd) scored for Sandringham 2 in Division 2, a second Sandy women's team collecting ladder points on the day.

Milla Malherbe finished 3rd overall in the Female U16 grade in 18:53 — another excellent run in a consistent XCR season.

Sandy scored 108 points, earning 11 ladder points for the round win. That's back-to-back-to-back Premier wins for the men.
Female Premier Division
The women matched the men, scoring 57 points for another round win and 11 ladder points. Sandy are now on a streak of their own, having won Round 2 and Round 3 on the trot.
